Lower Snowy (Site 38)
National Rainforest Site of Significance

General Description

The Lower Snowy RSOS contains warm temperate rainforest with many rare and endangered flora at the western limit of their range in Victoria.

Has a sharp transition between rainforest and eucalypt forest.

Most of the site is within an informal Special Protection Zone under the East Gippsland Forest Management Plan.
